We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated players to join our adult teams. We are looking for players over the age of 16 to showcase their abilities in order to progress into our mens and ladies 1st teams. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to progress to semi professional football. We are also recruiting young players aged 16 to 23 for our U23s and U18s teams.
Phoenix are currently recruiting for the following adult teams:-
- Phoenix FC 1st
- Phoenix FC U23s
- Phoenix FC U18s
Phoenix FC 1st
The mens first team play in the Yorkshire Amateur League, Premier Division. The team is managed by Zaf Patel who works with UEFA A license coach Ishfaq Hussain who manages North East Counties team, Albion Sports. Players will be monitored closely and signposted for opportunities to play semi professional football.
Players will be required to show dedication, commitment and professionalism to gain opportunities to play at higher levels. The team train every Wednesday evening 8pm at the Phoenix Home Ground and players will be required to attend training to be available for matches. Matches are played on 3G every Saturday 2pm home and away.
Phoenix FC U23s
The U23s play open age football as with the 1st team in the Yorkshire Amateur League. The team is managed by Mani Salim. The team train every Wednesday evening 8pm at the Phoenix Home Ground and players will be required to attend training to be available for matches. Matches are played on 3G every Saturday 2pm home and away.
