Phoenix FC surprise Supreme division Alwoodley in League Cup

Phoenix Firsts scored 8 against Supreme Division side Alwoodley this afternoon in the league cup.

Phoenix started fast and intense going 2-0 up shortly after kick off. Phoenix FC took control of the ball for the rest of the half not allowing Alwoodley any space or time.

Second half Phoenix continued with their intensity and discipline to put the game to bed with goals in quick succession. A couple of goals from kick off and a penalty gave Alwoodley some hope but Phoenix put the game to bed with a couple of late goals themselves to end the game 8-3.

A great start to the cup run for Phoenix!
